Being comfortable with the person that is treating you is one of the most important things when selecting a clinic for the treatment of your varicose or spider veins.

At The Leg Vein Doctor, you will only be seen by Doctor Nicholas Kemp from your first consultation throughout all your sessions and your follow up appointments post care for a year.

Nick graduated from the University of Queensland in 1981 and has a long and varied history of working within rural General Practice including obstetrics and anaesthetics. He became a Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine in 2000.

He developed an interest in this field after getting his varicose veins stripped only to be disappointed when they recurred soon after. Nick graduated top of his class in 2011 with a Certificate in Sclerotherapy and followed on with a Further Training in Procedural Phlebology. In 2018 Dr Kemp became a Fellow of The Australasian College of Phlebology.

Dr Kemp is committed to providing a wide range of treatment options for  those suffering with venous disease in a specialised and caring environment at his clinics in Auchenflower and Toowoomba.

You can view Dr Kemp's registration as a Specialist GP on the APHRA website here

An article on Dr Kemp was printed in the Mount Isa Star

He also features on the University of Queensland School of Medicine Alumni website.

You can also get to 'meet' Dr Kemp on his YouTube channel before you come to The Leg Vein Doctor.
